Stephen M. Putonti
Stephen M. Putonti has worked in virtually all areas of law—from civil litigation and personal injury to entity formation and contract drafting, with plenty of other practices in between. He even found time to work for the NFL, although this was decidedly non-legal.
Stephen graduated in 1989 from State University of New York at Albany with a B.A in Psychology. He then headed west to Whittier College School of Law, graduating in 1992.
His initial foray into law began at the offices of Sutera, Siracuse & Sutera, where Stephen was the law clerk responsible for legal research and trial preparation. Shortly thereafter, he headed west again to join the Law Office of Robert D. Walker of Los Angeles. Staying in Los Angeles for a while, Stephen found opportunities at Berger & Stolar of Beverly Hills; Stoll, Mussbaum and Polakov, L.A.; Reff & Aderonmu, North Hollywood; Klein, Testan & Brundo, Tustin, CA. and the aforementioned NFL stint.
In 1999, Stephen moved to Austin Texas and built his own law firm, the Law Office of Stephen M. Putonti, where Stephen was a Transactional and Civil Litigation Attorney, but also worked within the areas of Partnership, Employment, Constrction and Lease Agreements; Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, as well as Mass Tort and Toxic Litigation and Deceptive Trade Practice Act Claims.
Today, Stephen is a partner in the firm of Putonti & Escover, P.C. overseeing virtually all aspects of the practice.
